Maeda Blue Cave is a very interesting natural formation – it is a cave that is halfway filled with water which makes it ideal for snorkelers and presents a memorable experience for beginner divers as well. What makes it extremely beautiful is an opening under water right next to the cave entrance, which allows sunlight to come through and gives the water on the surface an emerald blue color. There is also an abundance of fish which are used to the large number of visitors and do not run away. The only drawback is that the cave tends to get very busy in the summer and the coral around the entrance is damaged due to the large number of tourists.
