Often times dive training includes practicing skills that might come in handy in case of emergencies - e.g. out of air share, regulator recovery, and mask replacement. Although it is critical to master all these skills, there are plenty of divers who (fortunately) never have to put these skills to practice. The Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB) course on the other hand is very different in the sense that it teaches skills that are used during every single dive. The ability to maintain the same depth, be able to ascend and descend in a controlled and precise way, as well as efficient gliding under water, is what makes a diver skilled. The PPB course includes a pool session and two open water dives. It focuses on proper weighting techniques, weight distribution for perfect trim, using different types of tanks, as well as efficient propulsion techniques such as frog kicks, helicopter turns, and back kicks,
