North Steps

North Steps dive site is located at the very north end of the seawall in Mizugama, just south of the mouth of Hija River. It is a perfect location for diving courses and beginners, although experienced divers can also find this dive site rewarding. Just as you enter, the reef drops off abruptly to about 6-8 meters of depth into a wide sandy field. If you swim straight out into the sea from there, you reach a big underwater mound covered in healthy corals, where cuttlefish and nudibranchs can often be spotted. On the way back you can visit a small cave with motorcycle remains inside.
