Gishippu is a tiny island just north of Tokashiki and, at low tide, the two islands are actually connected by a long sandy dune. The dive sites that we visit here are located to the northwest of the island, in the wide bay between Gishippu and Tokashiki. These dive sites are relatively easy, appropriate for all level of divers and snorkelers. The main attraction here is the large population of turtles that can be spotted on almost every single dive. It is very often that divers observe a turtle grazing the corals, while another turtle casually swims past just behind them. In addition, the sunlight reflecting off the patches of white sand and the healthy coral mounds in between add up to the overall beauty of the scenery.
