本部（ゴリラチョップ）

沖縄本島は北から南に長く延びている島で、夏場では東風が多いため、本島の西側にあるダイビングポイントが主に穏やかでダイビングしやすい事が多いです。しかし夏場の悪天候時(台風などの低気圧時)は、多くの場合、北風となるため、沖縄本島から西に向かって突き出た形となる本部半島の影となる名護湾に面するポイント(本部周辺のポイント)が唯一の安全に潜れるダイビングポイントとなります。本部と言えば、見る角度にっては、本当にゴリラが琉球空手のチョップを繰り出そうかとしているように見える、｢ゴリラチョップ(崎本部)｣が有名ですが、その他にも数か所ポイントがあります。優しい、初心者向けなポイントがほとんどですが、経者でも十分楽しめる要素が一杯で、リピータも飽きさせません。

本部周辺のポイントは全てビーチエントリーとなります。海況さえ良ければ、エントリーの時間帯は問いません。

We offer free pick-up service from hotels in Onna, Yomitan, and Chatan. Pick-ups from other locations are also possible upon request. Please inquire.

駐車場にシャワーとトイレがあります。

We conduct many of our scuba diving courses in this dive area.

† Gear rental is included for Discover Scuba and Snorkeling only. For Fun Diving you can rent a full set of gear for ¥ 4000/day and a partial set at a reduced rate. If you do fun dives with us on multiple days, gear rental is free from the third day onward.
‡ The prices above are for a single day of diving.
§ Drinks and snacks are provided, however lunch is not included. We usually get food for lunch at one of the restaurants or convenience stores close to the shore. Prices range between ¥ 400 and ¥ 1000 depending on your order.
