Channel Crevasses

Channel Crevasses is one of the signature dive sites around Itoman. Here the terrain is riddled with swim-throughs, cracks and crevasses, however they appear to be on a much larger scale than anywhere else in Okinawa. It is not uncommon for cuts in the rocks to be about 20 meters deep and wide enough for divers to fit in. Many reef sharks lurk around and lobsters can be seen retrieving into he darkness. In the shallow, the coral formations are outstanding and on a sunny day look extremely bright and colorful.
