Rukan Atoll

The Rukan Atoll is located about a third of the way from Itoman to the Kerama Islands. Its oval shape offers quite a few distinct options. On the west side, a steep and majestic wall descends to a depth of about 40 m, where large fish such as tuna and barracuda can often times be seen. On the east side, the terrain is a bit gentler and the bottom slopes down more gradually. This area is home to many turtles. The Rukan Atoll is a bit further away from the port compared to the other dive sites in Itoman, however the trip is definitely worth it!
