Nashiro Oki is located to the west of Okinawa mainland, which makes it quite different from the remaining dive sites around Itoman. It is essentially a giant 10 meter high heap of corals right in the middle of a sandy ocean bottom. On the south east end of the mound you can spot many garden eels poking out of the sand as well as a large school of tiny tropical glass fish. As you spiral up around the corals, you can see rare nudibranchs, eels, and snakes. It is a relaxing dive with plenty to see, especially for the macro lovers.
