Yakabi Island

Yakabi is the island of the Keramas situated furthest away from mainland Okinawa. Due to the large distance, we can make it out here only on days when the conditions are ideal. Yet, the long trip is definitely worth it. The dive sites we visit are on the west and south side of Yakabi island, which offer many swim-throughs and interesting rock formations. Very few boats go this far, which is why the corals are pristine. We often times encounter reef sharks around here, which look at us in a curious way while swimming in and out of the numerous crevasses.
